The annual Liwe festival, popularly called ‘Oro Liwe’, holds tomorrow, Thursday, June 15,2023, in lkorodu Kingdom.
As tradition permits, women are expected to stay indoor from 12am on Wednesday till early morning Friday.
Liwe, which is one of the major traditions of the people of Isele in Ikorodu, is the second of the two Oro festivals celebrated annually.

The annual festival, which is being used to cleansing the community and pray for its economic and social prosperity, is an agelong festival of the people of Ikorodu Kingdom.
